Linnutee (lind-tee) is a Northern European word for the Milky Way. It literally means "Bird's Way" or "Path of Birds".
Dojo is a Japanese word formed from dō ("way") and jō ("place"). It originates from the Sanskrit term bodhimanda (or bodhi-mandala), meaning "seat of wisdom" or "place of awakening".

When I asked the Akashic Records what I needed to know about offering intuitive coaching, trainings and courses, they showed me birds flying in a V-shaped flight pattern. While the pattern remained as they flew, the birds shifted their positions.
This flight pattern is formed by flocks of migratory birds. It is called an echelon. The leading bird guides the direction of the migration. Each bird in the flock instinctively rotates into this position during the migration.
This fluid formation enhances communication, improves navigation, conserves energy, and shares effort to perform the long journey together.
An echelon of birds is the symbolic blueprint for the design of Linnutee Dojo as a spiritual migration of cooperative leaders inspired by service.

Origin Story of the Bird Theme

The Blue Heron is my spirit animal
The blue heron first show up in Texas when my second child was born. I would notice them flying while walking across the Lake Joe Pool dam, and fishing in wetland areas during hikes in Cedar Hill State Park.
In the city, if I had a hunch to look up, I would see one flying. I even found an entire blue heron that was hit by a car on the side of the road.
As I traveled back from my first Vipassana Meditation retreat in Kaufman, Texas, a blue heron flew right in front of my window, inches from my windshield.
After arriving in New Orleans, I began to notice nests and babies. A baby heron perched right on my backyard fence for over an hour. Baby blue herons would show up at night when I would stop for fuel.
I began to regularly visit Bayou Segnette State Park, and noticed a blue heron perched in the middle of a small lake. As I roamed around the shoreline on one visit, I found a blue heron feather sticking straight up out of the ground. It now resides on my altar.
Blue Herons represent a world-bridger. They hunt on land and water, nest in the trees, and travel in the air. Like the heron, I traveled between worlds by living in different frequencies, communicating those frequencies to each other by employing the intuition. The blue represented my origins and a quality of energy I wield.
The first course I took in intuition, we were asked to contact our spirit guides. A plain man with a plain name, in a casual suit showed up. He was my Earth guide. I asked him what I needed to know at that time.
He showed me himself covered in blue electricity, like he was conducting jewel-blue lightening throughout his body. He indicated that this is an energy I would learn to use. Electricity is a current mystical guide (pun intended :).
Crows communicate major transformation
Dead crows show up in my yard, as I step out of the car, or I am wandering in carparks and the wilderness. This is followed by a major shift in outer relationships and location within a few months.
Crows that perch silently as a flock, in trees, are asking me to “pay attention, look”.
Crows that perch in trees and make sounds are asking me to “pay attention, listen”.
Crows show up in my life when all the circumstances are about to change drastically.
They act as punctuation to life events!
Cardinals are my connection to the indigenous cultures of North America
I have always noticed cardinals here and there in my yard and when I take walks and hikes.
When I first moved to New Orleans, a male cardinal banged into the same kitchen window everyday for weeks for two years in a row.
Recently, a cardinal flew quickly inches above my head while I walked outside giving some love to my plants.
In early 2025, I was carrying my wallet across the room. A quarter fell out. On one side, it had an engraving of the indigenous activist, Zitkala-sa. I looked up her name, and it means “Red Bird” in Sioux.
I purchased one of her books, and read a story she translated about Thunderbird. I was aware of Thunderbird as a guide for about a year. Zitkala-sa communicated to me that the story was not entirely accurate, editing the story as I read it.
She helped me to connect more directly with the energy of Thunderbird. Thunderbird supports my alignment with weather and lightening.
Hummingbirds are my alpha and omega
I tend to see hummingbirds in a location twice, upon arrival and departure.
They greet me in my new place, and flutter goodbye when I am about to leave.
They remind me to let go of the past, and embrace the new location.
Flying insects
Roaches are my guide to healing ancestral and family of origin wounds. Their presence used to trigger feeling unsafe and helpless as a child.
After a recent ceremony, I feel a great respect and compassion for their resilience and function in the ecosystem - cleaning up the mess left behind by death and decay.
The first encounter I remember with a bee is when I sat on one in preschool. Bees are usually my guides garnering my attention through touch and sound. They will land and crawl over my skin and clothes, and buzz around my head and ears, without ever stinging me.
Bees are a more close encounter than crows with the same message, “Listen up, pay attention, we have a quick message for you!” I usually associate bees with Earth guides, and time-sensitive messages.
Flies often behave like bees with me. They have a specific connection to the creativity of Mother and Father Earth. They remind me of the building blocks of creation. If Mother and Father Earth are Santa Claus, flies are like the elves in the workshop in at the North Pole.

They showed me a flock of birds migrating in an echelon formation (I didn’t know it was called that at the time). They showed the bird at the point in front veer off and go to the back and another take their place. The Records said this is how the intuitive training and courses would operate.
I would begin at the point in service to others to unfold their intuition by providing trainings. Then others would either veer off and start another migration, or take another place at the prompting of their own intuition.
I would veer off from the front point and move to another place in the echelon to learn and rest, and/or inspire another migration.
This is why intuitive training will be coupled with an introduction to cooperative leadership.

Linnutee (lind-tee) is the Estonian and Finnish word for the Milky Way. It literally means "Bird's Way" or "Path of Birds".
This interpretation is rooted in the observation that migratory birds in the Northern Hemisphere seem to follow the course of the galaxy as a guide during their journeys south for the winter.
It reflects a spiritual belief in Estonia, and other folklore in the region, that the Milky Way is a celestial pathway for the migration of souls in the spiritual symbolism of birds flying together toward a common destination.

Nicolas Messner, “The Dojo: A Place of Study and Practice”
“The origin of the word Dojo was found in the Sanskrit ‘Bodhimandala’ or the ‘place of edification’, a sacred place for building the path or the place of awakening.
We can therefore say that the dojo, beyond the physical dimension of the place, represents, in its very essence, an exceptional, energetic space.
The dojo is a place where the student, as well as the instructor, can develop their personality and discover a step by step art of living. By pushing open the doors of the dojo, the practitioner leaves their daily life outside, to become enriched internally, with a free spirit, with the content of the teaching.”
